Being on both sides of the classroom as a secondary teacher and a masters in social work student can be stressful. I deal by practicing jujitsu and bullet journaling.

Bullet Journaling is scientifically good for you
Read the article that is circulating about Bullet Journaling from New York Magazine. It does bring up a good point that the cognitive effort of putting tasks to paper as well as allowing your mind to wander as you doodle can be therapeutic. In my Child Trauma grad class last week we talked about art therapy for children and my teacher made us doodle. She said, "Draw a tree, a house, and a person." I took out my Bullet Journal and came up with this, maybe I will add color later, maybe not. I did feel less stressed as I drew it though.
